Dr. Chirag Bhalu is a Rajkot-based wildlife photographer and practicing Maxillofacial Prosthodontist, who has been capturing the wilderness since 2005. Over the past two decades, he has documented mammals, birds, and landscapes across almost every major sanctuary in India, with a special focus on Gujarat and Rajasthan. 

Equipped with Fujifilm and Nikon systems, Dr. Bhalu brings both artistic precision and technical mastery to his photography. His work has been showcased in INW Awards, Asian Photography Magazine, IDA Magazine, and on Fujifilm India and Nikon India’s platforms, among many others.

Beyond the lens, Dr. Bhalu is passionate about mentoring the next generation of photographers. With prior experience judging contests for the Indian Dental Association, he combines fairness with a keen eye for detail.

A lifelong explorer at heart, Dr. Bhalu finds joy in trekking new terrains, uncovering untold wildlife stories, and inspiring others to see photography as a bridge between art and conservation. He balances his professional career in dentistry with his love for the wild, supported by his equally dedicated family of doctors who share his enthusiasm for nature.
