About Mentor

Parag Prajapati

Maharasthra

Ever since picking up a camera in 2021, Parag Prajapati has been chasing stories hidden in the wild through tiger reserves, dense forests, misty wetlands, and sunlit mountains. With his gear in hand and patience in his soul, he waits for hours, sometimes in silence, just to capture a fleeting yawn of a tiger or the frozen stillness of a bird mid-flight.

A passionate storyteller through images, Parag’s photography is more than a profession; it's his way of preserving truth, beauty, and the delicate balance of nature. He has explored and shot across India’s diverse wildlife landscapes from Melghat and Tadoba to Pench, Nawegaon - Nagzira, Koyna, and more building not just a portfolio but a personal relationship with nature.

His work spans across photographing mammals, birds, insects, reptiles, and even amphibians, often blending artistic expression with conservation awareness. Off the field, Parag is equally comfortable guiding others, mentoring aspiring photographers, leading tours, and conducting both physical and virtual classes.

When not behind the lens, you’ll find him hiking, birdwatching, sketching from memory, or absorbing nature documentaries, always finding new ways to stay close to the wild. His belief is simple yet powerful: “Nature has its own rhythm and if you’re patient enough, it teaches you more than any classroom ever could.”

With a deep respect for wildlife and a heart full of curiosity, Parag is not just capturing the wild he’s inspiring others to feel it, protect it, and live it.
