Rishikesh I Lande is a civil engineer by profession and a wildlife photographer by passion. With a camera in hand since 2006, Rishikesh has journeyed through some of India’s most awe-inspiring natural landscapes from the rugged terrains of Ladakh to the lush forests of Kerala, and from birding havens like Sattal to the majestic tiger reserves of Central India.
His work has been showcased in platforms such as Sanctuary Asia, Scroll Magazine, and the KVVF Photography Exhibition, reflecting his deep love for wildlife and storytelling through the lens. Rishikesh is also a volunteer with the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau, lending his voice and actions to protect India's biodiversity.
Armed with cutting-edge gear like the Canon R5 and Nikon Z8, he specializes in capturing mammals, birds, reptiles, and landscapes. His images don’t just portray wildlife, they evoke a sense of responsibility and awe.
Beyond the wild, Rishikesh is a proud family man living with his wife, two daughters, and a pet cat named Simba. He believes in making a difference one step at a time, saying, to save wildlife, you don’t have to change the world just start with yourself. Every single effort matters.
As a mentor, he is deeply committed to sharing his knowledge. Whether it's through virtual classes, on-ground workshops, or photo tours, Rishikesh brings warmth, real-world insights, and a grounded love for nature to every interaction.
